Baltimore: The Power of Partnerships

The national organization Healthy Teen Network received a grant from Johnson and Johnson to provide evidence-based training to the Baltimore City Health Department and Baltimore City Public Schools. The proposal included training, curricula and materials to health educators on the local health and educational levels. The identified curriculum was Making Proud Choices, consisted of 16 hours of training that included pre- and post assessments. Since its inception one of the goals of this collaboration is to have the educators of these partnering organizations co-teach the curriculum to students in the classroom.
