Carol Goodenow, Ph.D.: Day Two ~ SEA Perspective
Carol Goodenow shares her insights in response to our questions.
· Something I do to “strengthen my practice” … try to figure out what our data suggest about what we should do next.
· A person who has inspired me...Two people who have inspired me because they DID pay attention to their data are Katherine Flegal (CDC) and Peter Pronovost (Johns Hopkins).
· A book, movie or experience I would recommend A movie I would recommend, just because I like it, is “Chariots of Fire.” Another is “Flight of the Phoenix”, the original one with Jimmy Stewart not the silly recent one.Dr. Carol Goodenow, PhD, Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, will be delivering the PART 1 – SEA Perspective of In Action - Addressing Health Disparities: Using data to drive decisions and guide program improvement, "Identifying and Addressing Physical Activity and Nutrition Disparities: Dietary Patterns and Latino Youth"
